考研英語一和英語二的重點是詞彙。

考研英語詞彙是基礎，一定要高度重視，

特別要捨得下功夫，絕對不能投機取巧，

一定不要相信，在短短的一半年的時間里，對詞彙量不夠大，基礎不牢靠的人來說，不專門攻克詞彙，而只是靠閱讀就能奏效的。除非這個人考研英語基礎太牛了。

對從小就喜歡英語，基礎扎實的一些人來說，研究研究真題肯定是可以的。

但對一般看書來說必須認認真真，老老實實把考研英語詞彙好好過一遍，才是硬道理。

1、紅寶書最精華的就是精縮版的小冊子！一個單元的內容至少七八十個單詞，在大書中有例句、有真題、規劃的很細，一個單元很多頁，看時間久了可能會覺得沒完沒了的很枯燥。但是小冊子中一個單元只有一篇半，一眼看過去就覺得很輕松，任務不是很繁重的樣子。我是把大書看過一遍之後，一直用的小冊子背單詞。

2、詞彙的釋義很全。對比了幾本書發現很多詞彙書中文釋義不全面，特別是網上下載的詞彙表。考研考的就是熟詞僻義，中文意思不全還怎麼背啊？怎麼考啊？譬如zero：一般的詞彙表上翻譯的基本上只有：零；零度。但是紅寶書上還有「將注意力集中於某人或某事」的含義。

3、顏色的劃分。紅寶書編排不同的地方用不同的顏色。感覺有條理。

來源分析：

文章來源於An Outline of American History，《美國歷史綱要》，是一本歷史學方面的專著。考研翻譯曾經在1999年考過歷史學方面的話題，當初考的是歷史學科建立方面的爭論，關於歷史研究方法論的。今年的考題與1999年那篇歷史學文章的試題相比，簡單太多。但是與2014年考研翻譯試題相比，難度倒是上升了不小。

英語一更難些。
學術型研究生考英語一，專業學位研究生考英語二

(1)學術型研究生
學術型碩士研究生入學考試科目設置辦法要求與2009年相同。除教育學、歷史學、醫學門類設置三個單元考試科目(政治理論、外國語、基礎課，各科目試題滿分分別為100分、100分、300分)外，其他各學科門類考試科目均設置四個單元(政治理論、外國語、基礎課和專業基礎課，各科目試題滿分分別為100分、100分、150分、150分)。從2010年起增加一套統考英語試題(即英語二)供部分專業學位研究生招生時選用，原統考英語名稱相應改為英語一。
(2)專業學位研究生
2.第二單元(外國語)：法律碩士(非法學)、法律碩士(法學)、建築學碩士、漢語國際教育碩士、臨床醫學碩士、口腔醫學碩士、公共衛生碩士專業採用統考英語一(日語、俄語)；翻譯碩士採用翻譯碩士外語試題；其餘各專業可選用統考英語一(日語、俄語)或英語二試題(英語二重點考查考生英語應用能力，尤其是閱讀和翻譯能力)。滿分均為100分。
